this was one of those moments where I knew God was chuckling at me.

we made this little sewing craft into a valentines day activity, but the great thing about this is its adjustable for any occasion. OR if you're simply looking for a life skill that you can start young, this is it!

I don't know about you, but I swear my kids like breaking crayons more than actually coloring with them!

Yesterday was not an easy day.. I had this activity planned for a while, but upon gathering the supplies I received the text that my sweet aunt Janet had lost her short battle with cancer.

This particular recipe is near in dear to my heart. It floods me with so many memories growing up when my mom would make noodle midday and let them dry all afternoon.

It should come as no surprise by now i'm a HUGE fan of no mess crafts and art. now there is a time and place for messy crafts, but man my mind really has to be in the right place before I knowingly subject myself to that sort of anxiety followed by cleaning up whatever chaos was had!

this craft is perfect as a way to explain jesus's death on the cross. this made it visual to imagine the blood he spilt for us, but yet remind them that the hearts represent god's love.
